As he is illegitimate himself (and constantly reminded of this when he was a child) he is incensed when he discovers her deception/secret 2 years later when he visits the family home after his father’s death and discovers Kiara and his daughter living there. He is determined she will have two parents. He may come across as a cold hearted billionaire but there is another passionate, caring side which Kiara glimpses. Can they create their HEA?
Kiara is a talented artist who just wants a family whilst Valentino is a cold hearted billionaire who is embittered that he was the illegitimate son whilst Javiero is the perfect legitimate one. He turned his back on his father, building his fortune himself. He is determined that his daughter will not be tainted by illegitimacy. The main characters are both complex and at times Valentino is unlikeable. It is interesting to see his character change as he becomes the family man.
