Swarovski have collaborated with some fantastic brands and artists over the past few years. They collaborated with Disney to celebrate 100 years and created some fun and reasonably purse friendly pieces. The two pieces I bought to celebrate getting closer to 2 million views on my blog and hopefully receive more views and comments so I get reindexed are the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck white Swarovski pave crystal Standing Pendants. Each one costs £119 and comes in a Pink box with the famous Swarovski Swan embossed on the top.
The necklaces are 3D, white rhodium coated with clear Swarovski pave crystals encrusted in their ears and bodies (different places depending on the character) . The characters measure 3,6x1.7 cm and the necklace 16.2-19.5”. They look as though they are swinging off the chain. The characters are adorable and are immediately identifiable as they haven’t been changed in any way. The chain fastens with a lobster clasp and there is a tiny Swarovski swan tag and a little Swarovski gem next to it.
Donald is sparklier than Mickey. As they are 3D Donald looks more comfortable to wear as he hasn’t got a tail and his front is nearly smooth whereas Mickey’s tail could either dig into the wearer’s chest or knock him off to the side. These boxes are a special edition pink colour way to celebrate Disney’s anniversary. These are adorable pendants to celebrate 100 years of Disney and would make great gift for a Disney collector of any age.
