QVC UK: Ophia Sterling Silver Cosmic Constellation Ring

Ophia Jewellery is a range stocked by QVC UK. I chose the Capricorn  Cosmic Constellation Sterling Silver ring (£22.96) as it is my star sign and I have several Constellation pendants but have never found a ring that I liked.  The ring is rhodium plated sterling silver and the stones are cubic zirconia.  All the signs are currently available in L, M, P and R.  The ring makes a statement as it fits up to my knuckle (the Constellation itself measures approx 3cm in height x 2cm diameter) but it is very comfortable to wear as it is light, fits snugly against my finger and there aren't any sharp edges that could catch clothing, glasses etc.  There are also matching constellations Pendants and earring sets. The only slight disappointment is the gift box as it is rather boring and bland in comparison to the unusual, sparkly ring.  It would have looked great in a black box or a pouch covered in stars and moons but it is a nice surprise to open a run of the mill box and find a gorgeous ring inside.

I purchased the item myself and the vieews expressed in this blog post are my own.

Z for Accessorize: Platinum Capricorn Constellation Pendant Necklace

The Z for Accessorize Platnium Capricorn Constellation Pendant is £15 and the same design/ dimensions as the gold version I reviewed in a previous blog post. The Constellation Pendant is part of the Z for Accessorize range and all other 11 star constellations are available.  The pendant and chain are platinum plated over brass. The Capricorn Constellation is marked out in tiny cubic zirconia stones and "Capricorn" is engraved on the reverse of the pendant charm.  There is a built in extender on the chain and the closure is a lobster fastening which is quite large and easy to grip.

Constellation Capricorn Ear Crawlers: A Review

I purchased my Capricorn  constellation ear crawlers from Karlasdesign on Etsy UK. They were £7.60 excluding  p&p. I chose the Capricorn version but the other constellations looked equally as nice. The ear crawlers are sterling silver and even though they look delicate they are quite sturdy. They came in a little purple box which I will use as ajewellery travel case.

I found that it would have been easier to get the earrings in if the posts had been at a little sharper and  when I brushed my hair behind my ears I kept catching the stars which pulled the crawlers out of position. These are only small niggles. They are comfortable to wear and discreet so a nice alternative to wearing studs for work/ college. I only have small ear lobes and the constellations only just fit - I don't think they would look as good if the end was hanging off my ear but for the price I do like them.

I will be giving a pair of these ear crawlers away as part of my Christmas Giveaway (1-12 Dec) so keep checking back if you want to try and win a pair.
