Review: GemeShou Gypsum White Ring display holder

Gemeshou Gypsum ring holders

The Gemeshou Gypsum ring holders isre available in a set of 3 in two different sizes (£13.86) from Amazon. I got one of the taller ring holders as a sample gift and I really like it. The design and material it is made from is quite unusual. Mine measures 3.5x3.5x6cm. The holder is quite striking and the rings sit nicely on the cone. I don’t think I would have chosen this design myself but now it is in front of me I really like it!

Review: Fashionzaadi Fluorite Crystal Wand/ Ring Holder

Fluorite crystal wand
I purchased this fluorite crystal wand £14.93) from Amazon. It is made by Fashionzaadi which is a generic brand specialising in lower grade/ priced gemstone items such as wands, trees etc. I didn’t have high hopes for the item as the reviews aren’t that great. I thought I would purchase one as I can always return it. I purchased  this to use as ring holder so just wanted a pretty stone that would hold my rings whilst I photograph them or store them.

The wand works great as a ring holder as it is just the right size for smaller rings (sizes J - M) and so pretty. The fluorite stone is tumbled, has 6 sides as per a crystal wand and measures 53mm in height. The stones are handcrafted in India and each one is slightly different as they are natural stones each one will have different inclusions etc. They measure between 50-55mm in height. and comes with a guide to stones and a little gauze bag so would make a lovely gift. This is the only fluorite stone wand that I have found that is suitable to use as a ring holder as it is slimmer at the top and slowly splays out, giving the ring somewhere to rest rather than just fall to the bottom of the wand.

I will say the quality of the stone isn’t the best, you aren’t getting an AAA stone and it certainly doesn’t look like the Amazon picture, it is more rustic and broken in. I want bothered by this as crystal/ semi precious stone wand style ring holders that will hold my rings are actually quite hard to find.

XissJewellery Rose Quartz Ring Holder Trio

I reviewed the single XissJewellery rose quartz crystal wand ring holder in the previous blog post. I also purchased the trio (£30).

The details/ measurements are exactly the same. The only difference is they are more of a traditional rose quartz pink colour. They almost glow in the sun! Rose quartz is the stone of love and is supposed to help release anxiety and reduce stress. I certainly feel happier looking at my rings beautifully presented on my bedside table!

The customer service is great. My ring holders came package carefully in bubble wrap and a little cotton bag. I always treat these items with care as I broke one years ago by dropping it onto a pillow on its tip!

Review: Natural Amethyst Tower

I purchased two 75-80mm 6 point amethyst crystal wands from a small crystal wand/ jewellery seller BlushMint via Etsy. Each wand cost £14.62 (normally £19.49).

The amethyst wands can be used as healing stones, crystal wands, part of the meditation or reiki process or as ring holders.   I chose amethyst as I love the deep purple colour, but amethyst stones are supposed to relieve stress and strain, balance the individual, calm mood swings, anger, fear, anxiety and irritability.  Amethyst can also activate spiritual awareness and has healing and cleansing powers.

I love my two stones. I didn’t buy them for their magical/ spiritual properties but I do feel more relaxed when I am holding them. I love that they are not perfect but have inclusions and imperfections  that make them look more raw and interesting to look at and they are tactile too. I have photographed them in different lights and with different backgrounds to try and show how different they can look.  I intend to use them as blog props when displaying my rings and jewellery as they will display them  perfectly but I will also have them out on display as they are so unique.

The wands arrived packaged securely in a Jiffy bag and wrapped in copious amounts of bubble wrap. My first package went astray but this was fixed very efficiently and quickly by the seller. I would/ will use this seller again in the future as her customer service is excellent and the stones reasonably priced and she sells beautiful hand selected pieces.

Review: Stackers Marble Cone Small Jewellery Peak

I purchased a Stackers small marble effect jewellery peak (£10) to use both as a blog prop and to store my favourite rings by my bedside. The ring cones are part of the Stackers Peak range and are available in two sizes and two colour ways. They are available in small and large. The small measures 7.2 x 3.3 cm, the large 11.3 x7cm and has a hidden compartment at the base to store more jewellery. The cones are made from resin and are available in either rose quartz or marble effect. There is felt on the base embossed with the Stackers logo to prevent any possible scratches.

I was lucky enough to win and then review the Stackers large grey peak way back in 2018 and whilst I still use it I do prefer the aesthetic and colour way of the newer versions. It looks more refined and elegant. I also find that when my rings are stacked on the peak they are liable to slide off when I lift the lid to get to jewellery in the base. Having said that I am considering getting the rose quartz large version and putting the grey version into retirement! I like that the small peak is small enough not to be knocked over or take up too much room on my bedside cabinet whilst it can still hold several rings. The marble effect means that the cone almost glows in certain lights and so will make a great blog prop when I am presenting any new rings.

I like this ring storage holder and I am considering upgrading my grey large cone to the rose quartz version. My existing cone has lasted several years and is still going strong so the workmanship is great.  The cones certainly will last longer than the copies on Shien etc and so will work out cheaper year per use.

Tesco Hedgehog Ring Dish

I found this little guy, well hedgehog ring holder/ dish in my local Tesco Extra. I cannot find him online be but he cost £3 in store and was tucked away in the jewellery box section. He is cute Bute not twee and can store a fair bit of jewellery in the dish. The dish has cute little gold paw prints printed on it and the hedgehog has a gold nose. The rest of the item is white glaze and the whole thing is ceramic so doesn't drop it!  He is a fabulous find and would make a great secret santa/ stocking filler etc. There were other items in the range including a candle holder so your whole dressing table could be hogified.

I purchased this item myself in store at Tesco Extra.
