Review: Acdria Butterfly Transparent Ring

In the last few years I have purchased several items of Acdria jewellery. I was also lucky enough to be gifted 2 pieces last year by them. I have reviewed the Butterfly hair pin and common blue butterflyButterfly bangle and Tiger butterfly studs, so when I saw there was a transparent acrylic butterfly ring (£21) available I added it to my butterfly collection.

The ring is handmade and available in three sizes. The pattern is a miniature version of the bangle. The ring is made out of resin and is very elegant and minimalist. Like all Acdria jewellery the pattern isn’t twee or cutesy. The butterflies look realistic, as though they are fluttering around my finger. The ring came promptly and nicely packaged in an Acdria embossed gift box.

I will continue to purchase from this company both for myself and for gifts,  as their customer service is excellent, their products are designed and made in the U.K., are cruelty free and vegan friendly and I love their aesthetic.

I purchased the item myself and the views expressed in my blog are my own

Acdria Unique Butterfly Bangle

Disclaimer: I have purchased and have been gifted items to review from Acdria.  I purchased this and some other items I will be reviewing and giving away in my Christmas giveaway myself as I love their jewellery and aesthetic.

I purchased the Acdria Unique Butterfly Bangle (£36) as a gift and liked it so much I purchased one for myself. Acdria are a jewellery firm based in Liverpool who design and manufacture all their items in the UK. All their items are inspired by nature, are handcrafted, made from resin and are cruelty free so are suitable for vegans. The butterfly bangle measures 6.7cm. The bangle is made from clear resin with colourful butterflies flying across it. As the resin is transparent it does look slightly different as it take on the colours around it. I like  the bangle as it looks as though there are butterflies flying around my wrist. It is very light to wear but as I have very thin wrists I do find it slightly too large and have to wear a thick jersey with it to bulk up my arm or it falls off! It came packaged in an elegant Acdria branded gift box and arrived 2 days after I ordered it via Etsy.
I enjoy wearing Acdria jewellery and giving items as gifts so will continue to do so.

I purchased this item myself but have been gifted 2 items in the past.

Acdria Tiger Butterfly Stud Earrings

Acdria were established in 2012 in Liverpool, their first jewellery design was the Tiger butterfly.  They have expanded their designs to encompass not only different types of butterflies but also fans, leaves, flowers  and peacock feathers. Their products are vegan, cruelty free and designed and made  handmade in the UK. They have their own Etsy shop, Web shop and are stocked in select independent gift shops such as Podarok. The jewellery is described as "see through" and is made from resin. The butterfly posts are made from stainless steel, so unlikely to cause an allergic reaction. All items arrive well packaged and in a branded gift box.

I chose the orange Tiger butterfly stud earrings in orange (£12 plus £2 p&p), they also come in blue, purple, dark blue and red, as I get lots of these butterflies in my garden and love photographing them.  The earrings are very realistic, dainty and delicate. They measure 3cmx1.2.cm. they lie completely flat against the ear, so less likely to get snagged, if like me, you wear glasses and fiddle with them.  I really like them, they are eye catching, unusual, don't look twee and would make great bridesmaid/bridal gifts.  There is a whole range of butterfly jewellery to choose from, I especially like the Tiger butterfly hair pin (£28), as so few companies make hair ornaments any more.

I purchased this item myself and the views expressed in this blog are my own.
